USB Tracker
USB devices are very popular these days. A lot of people carry around a USB device just to share photos, music, and school work. There are even some very innovative USB devices that are incorporated into pocketknives and other devices.
Nowadays, there is a GPS USB tracker device. The device is passive and will sit and log everywhere it goes. You can plant the device on someone or something and then go back some time later to get the key. Then, you take the USB tracker to your computer and plug it in. The USB logger device will then give you the locations of where it has been. The device cost is around $200.00. So, the device is a bit expensive and yet it is probably one of the best solutions available. It can even log outside a cell phone area and it doesn't have to be on to get the data.
